Thanks, Kelly; I’m so glad you enjoyed the poem. Oh, is your Mandy my Mandy, from Mandy by Julie Edwards? How I loved that book. And so many others! And absolutely, books and the characters, the friends we find in them, are treasures in difficult times. I turn to them often.
