Flip Book – Delight yourself with a Rainbow In Your Hand

Remember those flip books, where you’d flip the pages and see animation? Well, this is even cooler. This is a book where you flip the pages, and you see the illusion of a rainbow arcing between the pages. Wow! The book was created by Japanese art director and copywriter Masashi Kawamura, and has a narrow spectrum of color printed on black on each page.

I think this book will appeal to children and to anyone who likes rainbows or has a playful spirit. I know I want one! The book can be purchased worldwide from heeza for about $18 US. Right now they’re out of stock, but they’re supposed to have some in in about two weeks. I’m definitely buying myself a copy.
