Have a Dr. Seuss book read to you for free

Love Dr. Seuss books? Want them read to you? There are two ways that you or a child you know can have a Dr. Seuss book read to them on demand–by calling the Kansas Public Library Dial-a-Story at 1-816-701-3456 OR by going to this site and clicking on the book cover or the title of the book you want to have read to you. The stories may only be online the month of March; I’m not sure. I hope not. The Dr. Seuss books are absolutely beautifully read by volunteer reader Michael Ashcraft, who uses a lot of expression and different voices. It sounds pretty professional, though sometimes the books are read a little too quickly for my taste. Many of the books have an interesting tidbit about Dr. Seuss and his writing before the actual book–such as that Theodor Geisel wrote Green Eggs and Ham on a dare to write a book with only 50 words.
