Book Blogger Appreciation Week – Sept 15-19

Do you read a book blog? Do you blog about books yourself? Then consider nominating a book blog at My Friend Amy, or, if you run a book blog, registering and taking part in it yourself.

Book bloggers work hard at what we do, because we love books and love sharing good reads with you, our readers. We want to help promote good books, and help readers find those books.

It’s always nice to feel that your blog posts are appreciated–from people leaving comments on a blog, to seeing growing stats and knowing people are reading, to receiving emails, to being nominated for an award. Any of those things is a reward that helps fuel us on.

I love what Amy said about it in her write up for Book Blogger Appreciation Week: “I have found, without a doubt, that book bloggers are the kindest, most open minded, and supportive group of bloggers on the internet. With book blogging, it’s about community and a love for the written word.”

I think that’s so true.

Book Blogger Appreciation Week will also have a special contest just for readers. So check it out.
