Favorite picture books as audio books at great prices

I love children’s audio books. There’s something so pleasing about being read to, especially when the person narrating is a great reader. Sometimes, though, audio books are expensive–even downloadable audio books.

So I was excited to find some audio books of my favorite picture books at really low prices on Audible:

Where The Wild Things Are at Audible for $1.95.

The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keatsfor $0.99.

There’s a Nightmare In My Closet by Mercer Mayer for $0.99.

Make Way For Ducklings by Robert McCloskey for $0.99.

Gerogie by Robert Bright for $0.99.

Curious George Rides a Bike by H. A. Ray for $1.95.

The Mysterious Tadpole by Steven Kellogg for $1.95

Clifford the Big Red Dog for $1.95

A Bad Case of Stripes by David Shannon for $1.95

Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss for $2.95

How the Grinch Stole Christmas by Dr. Seuss for $2.95

Horton Hears a Who by Dr. Seuss for $2.95

Some I’ll have to put on my wish list, but some I’m getting for myself soon! Personally I think an audiobook download plus the actual book would make an awesome gift for a child–or a book lover. Or some audiobook downloads of the child’s favorite books.

Do you see any of your favorites in this list?

Do you like children’s audio books?
