Mr. Popper’s Penguins … to become a movie

Remember Mr. Popper’s Penguins? According to Variety (via Cynopsis Kids), Fox has optioned the film rights to Mr. Popper’s Penguins (originally published in 1939). Sean Anders and John Morris are writing the screenplay.

Another children’s book has also just been optioned–author/illustrator Chris Gall’s picture book Dinotrux. The book is being developed as a CGI-animated film.
