Children’s author Nancy Springer on Twitter!

Nancy Springer is one of my favorite children’s authors, and now she’s on Twitter! Some of my top favorite children’s books are ones she wrote: Sky Rider; Red Wizard; and Colt. They have emotion and hope in them, and bits of magic in a few. The characters feel real.

Nancy Springer’s Twitter prescence is really interesting for writers and readers, and anyone interested in books. She gives helpful tips on writing, thoughts on children’s books, and more.

Nancy also write adult fiction (but my love is children’s/YA fiction).

About Cheryl Rainfield

I write the books I needed and couldn't find as a teen. I write teen fiction--paranormal fantasy and gritty realistic fiction. I'm the author of SCARS (WestSide Books, 2010) #1 ALA QuickPicks, and Governor General Literary Award Finalist, HUNTED (WestSide Books, Oct 2011), STAINED (Harcourt, 2013), The Last Dragon (HIP Books, Sept 2009), and Walking Both Sides (HIP Books, 2011). I also enjoy drawing, surfing the web, connecting with people I like, doing crafts, and being with my dog.

  1. JS Huntlands says:

Set in today’s day and time, Me and My Best Friend is about a young boy, his faithful companion and their exciting adventures.

Henry and Liam are the best of friends and they do everything together. They can run and play all day long. But when Henry the puppy gets tired and tries to take a nap, three-year-old Liam keeps waking him, wanting him to play some more. Will Henry get any rest?

Get your children involved with this beautifully illustrated book. Your child will love to match up words and pictures, and find Liam, who keeps hiding in his bedroom. Perfect for the young reader!
