The first review for The Last Dragon – and it’s lovely

last-dragon-100

I just got the first review (that I know of) for my YA fantasy The Last Dragon–and the reviewer, Lawral (a librarian), loved it! (beaming)

I am floating on happy!

I was holding my breath to check out the review…and it’s so positive. What a good feeling! I had to share it.

Some of the things she said:

“This slim book packs a lot of action and plot into its 111 pages. It did not include the lengthy explanation of the world into which the reader is being dropped that can bog down good fantasy books…. Instead, IMPORTANT THINGS start happening right on page 1.
… Rainfield manages to tell a story that is original and engaging. I sped through it.”

Check out her review here.
