2 overdue library books returned 50 years later–with a bonus
Such a neat story! 2 books 50 years overdue, returned to the highschool library along with $1000 money order to cover the fines.

Wow! What a great story. I’ve heard so many wonderful stories this week about the kindness of people, it goes a long way to blotting out the not so nice things.

Some people are honourable! I, on the other hand, still have a library book from the Library in Montreal (signed out over sixty years ago!) But alas! The library is no longer in existence … hahahaha … just saved myself about $1095 give or take a nickel. G-d’s watching … Yikes!

(laughing) Sarah, good thing the library isn’t around any more! (snorting)
