According to Cynopsis Kids, the series is about “Sophie, a 10-year-old tomboy and would-be stuntwoman, who is the guardian to the mysterious Shadow Woods and must outwit the creatures that live there from wreaking havoc in our world.”
The first book in the series, Sophie and the Shadow Woods: The Goblin King, is scheduled to be published in May 2011.
