I love stories like this!
A couple gives out books instead of candy.
I would have loved it; I was a real bookworm; I still am. Just as long as I still got some chocolate at another stop. 
What do you think? Would you have liked it as a kid, or not?

I’m a bookworm too, but I’m pretty sure that getting a book instead of candy would be considered a trick, not a treat.
