This How To Be An Artist poster by SARK is one of my very favorites from her.

This How To Be An Artist poster by SARK is one of my very favorites from her. It is so playful, creative, affirming, and joyful, a reminder to keep being playful and curious and open. I think SARK has a lot of wisdom and her books and prints can be very helpful for all of us, especially creatives, sensitive people, and people who are playful. I’m posting this for @elizabeth_sagan because she asked what that post positive affirmation poster behind me is, that is so often in my photos. (grinning)

Writers! You’ll want to check out this writer’s thesaurus

Writers! You’ll want to check out this writer’s thesaurus

I love Angela and Becca’s thesauruses for writers; I think they can help writers get unstuck, so I am thrilled I can finally announce that The Emotion Thesaurus Second Editionis coming! It releases February 19th and this new, expanded edition has 55 new entries!
If you’re a writer like me you probably know (and may use) the original Emotion Thesaurus.  I do. It’s a great refresher on emotion, and a great jumping off point into writing emotion deeper.

Check out my post at http://www.cherylrainfield.com/blog for more details (especially about the pre- order bonus and free surprise!). #emotionthesaurus

I’m editing my manuscript and I just turned to The Emotion Thesaurus by Angela Ackerman and Becca Puglisi

I’m editing my manuscript and I just turned to The Emotion Thesaurus by @writers_helping_writers_angela and @beccapuglisi to make sure that the physical reaction for the emotion I was writing fit, and to see if there was anything else I could add. Whenever I think I’m repeating myself too much describing emotion or need to change it up I pick it up for inspiration. Writers – it’s a good book to have around.
