New and forthcoming YA fantasy and sci-fi titles listed at one site

If you like YA fantasy or sci-fi (I do!) then you’ll probably want to check out this list of New and Forthcoming Science Fiction and Fantasy Titles for Teens by Susan Fitchelberg. She’s created a list since 2006, so it looks like it’s a regular thing. Titles are listed, along with the author, the publisher, and the year–and, if it’s forthcoming, the month. If you want to know what each book is about, though, you’ll have to look it up on Amazon or another book site. Still, it gathers a great list together with some books you might otherwise have missed.

I think Fitchelberg’s list is good book promotion or a good way to drive a targeted audience to her site, since she’s the author of Encountering Enchantment: A Guide to Speculative Fiction for Teens. (A bibliography that explores fantasy, science fiction, and paranormal fiction for grades 6-12.) It looks like a book I would love, but (sigh) it’s $48. Good for schools and libraries.

Thanks to Gail Gauthier over at Original Content for the link.

About Cheryl Rainfield

I write the books I needed and couldn't find as a teen. I write teen fiction--paranormal fantasy and gritty realistic fiction. I'm the author of SCARS (WestSide Books, 2010) #1 ALA QuickPicks, and Governor General Literary Award Finalist, HUNTED (WestSide Books, Oct 2011), STAINED (Harcourt, 2013), The Last Dragon (HIP Books, Sept 2009), and Walking Both Sides (HIP Books, 2011). I also enjoy drawing, surfing the web, connecting with people I like, doing crafts, and being with my dog.
