March of the Librarians – funny video

This is a lightly funny video about librarians going to the 2007 ALA in Seattle. The narration is what makes it.

About Cheryl Rainfield

I write the books I needed and couldn't find as a teen. I write teen fiction--paranormal fantasy and gritty realistic fiction. I'm the author of SCARS (WestSide Books, 2010) #1 ALA QuickPicks, and Governor General Literary Award Finalist, HUNTED (WestSide Books, Oct 2011), STAINED (Harcourt, 2013), The Last Dragon (HIP Books, Sept 2009), and Walking Both Sides (HIP Books, 2011). I also enjoy drawing, surfing the web, connecting with people I like, doing crafts, and being with my dog.

Maybe we need to produce a video with hip hop music to energize and excite the possibilities that books can produce. Use older characters doing happy dances around the new book displays and line dancing waiting for the emails. Food is jazzy but books really rock needs to be the message.

Marilyn, that sounds lovely! I think it’s a great idea.

  3. The Ms. S says:

One of my best friends is a librarian and she will love this. I have sent her the link to your site.

    Very sweet.

  4. Cheryl says:

Good, Ms S; I hope she enjoys it.
